Bienvenu Eva Nga Leaves Orlando Pirates
Cameroonian striker, Bienvenu Eva Nga, has left Orlando Pirates and is already looking for another club to join.
That’s according to his agent Charles Domingos, who confirmed the 30-year-old’s departure in an interview with a local soccer outlet published on Tuesday, 23 January.
“Nothing concrete, [but we’re] looking at some options,” Domingos explained. “It’s football, and it’s evident when things are not working out, looking at [Eva Nga’s] age, we had to make a decision favourable for the player.
“Thanks to Pirates and [director of football] Mpumi Khoza for the swift talks to ensure the player is free to start over again at a different club.”
Eva Nga first joined Pirates in June 2022, where he had very limited game time: to date, he has scored only one goal in 17 appearances across all competitions. In fact, he failed to play a single match for the Bucs in the current Premier Soccer League season.
Whispers are floating around that Eva Nga’s previous team, Chippa United, as well as Kaizer Chiefs, are looking to attain his signature. As always, watch this space!
